PACA Advocates for Return of Mural

It’s no joke. Today, the board and staff of the Portland Arts & Cultural Alliance sent a letter to Maine Governor Paul LePage requesting the return of the 11-panel mural by Judy Taylor to the Maine Department of Labor. The governor ordered the removal of the publicly-commissioned work last week claiming it was unwelcoming to business and did not belong in the lobby of the Maine Department of Labor.
